Fast Switching, High Performance

I²R Electronics manufactures a high performance direct digital synthesizer with on board FPGA processor to enable programming of complex modulation. The unit operates over a frequency range 550MHz to 700MHz with a frequency switching speed of below 200ns. Spurious and harmonic levels are maintained below -60dBc over the operational temperature range -40°C to +85°C . The DDS unit contains an internal oven controlled crystal oscillator which ensure phase noise performance below -90dBc at 10Hz. Frequency control of below 1Hz is readily achievable along with amplitude and phase modulation capabilities. The unit contains its own power management system allowing operation from a single +15V supply.
