Octave and larger bandwidths
I2R Electronics has developed highly efficient, broadband Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPA) for continuous wave (CW) operation offering very high amplitude and phase linearity over the respective frequency ranges. Typically octave or larger bandwidths, these devices serve a broad range of markets including electronic counter measures, frequency agile systems, test applications, high energy physics markets, and others The SSPAs use GaN transistor technology. The entire RF section, based on I2R Electronics's HMIC technology, is hermetically sealed.
