Up/Down Converters
Up and down conversion subsystems provide key functional blocks for system implementation. Limiter/LNA, filters, mixers and IF amplifiers are combined to provide low noise, high input power tolerance, down conversion of received radar and communications signals. Our SSPA technology, combined with filtering, IF AGC, and modulation if needed provides high efficiency up conversion. LO chains can incorporate SRD multipliers, LO synthesis, or direct LO input. RF frequencies from L-band to Ka band have been implemented. IF bandwidths up to 1 GHz have been supported depending on system requirements.
